WE ARE!
I am excited to announce the launch of my website, www.mountainhigharts.com, dedicated to photography and documentary film making of nature and environmental subjects. I have been taking landscape photographs and creating black and white and color prints since 1970. During this time I have experienced the evolution, and now revolution, in cameras and computer software which enable amateur and professional photographers to realize their creative visions.
All photographs, paintings and videos shown in this website are offered for sale.
OUR VISION
The vision of Mountain High Arts is captured by our motto: Photography of Nature...for Nature, and is represented by the four guiding principles:
• We will endeavor to provide the highest quality photographic prints and videos of nature and environmental subjects that technology will allow, at a reasonable price which normal people can afford.
• We promise not to disturb wildlife or trample the environment while on location. While this may make it more difficult to obtain a particular shot, the ends simply do not justify the means.
• We will use recycled products whenever possible consistent with producing the highest quality photographs and videos.
• We pledge to donate 20 percent of any annual net profits to non-profit organizations for the preservation of wildlife or the environment.
Guided by these principles, I feel ready to leap off into cyberspace with this website. I seek your friendship and support during this venture. Hopefully, we will become friends without you having to "Like" me or become an official "Friend" on any particular website. And naturally, if you are moved by any of my photographs or videos, I would be honored if you would purchase one.
