BIRD WATCHING TOUR
Group size: 1-6 people, 10 days/9 nights, May to late September
The foothills of the Altai Mountains in Western Mongolia are blessed
They are blessed with an unusual combination of geographic and weather conditions, which makes this region the home of a very large number and variety of birds, both permanent as well as migratory. They are open grazing land, forests, lakes, rivers and swamps, combined with a mostly dry climate with mild temperatures in the spring, summer and autumn months. This provides the birds with plentiful food and shelter, and offer the ornithologist, both professional and amateur, an ideal venue: easily accessible and with predictable and pleasant weather conditions.
We have planned this special tour, during which our guests will visit the best locations to watch the birds.
