The Temple of Religion and Tower of Peace
This exhibit offered programs, displays and exhibits that emphasized the similarities, rather than the differences, among many world religions. Rabbi Coffee, the exhibit president, explained, “In a world torn by wars and injustice, men of all religions should exalt world peace and brotherly love as a supreme objective.” The words “TOWER OF PEACE” were spelled out on the clock face in place of numerals.
