Arleen Goodwin
Co-Founder and Director
Arleen founded Senior Medi-Benefits in 1986 with a close friend, (see History) and served as Executive Director for eighteen years. She has helped hundreds of families as they navigated the complexities of financial, emotional, and medical benefits problems when their loved ones get sick, and continues to be a passionate advocate for the sick and frail elderly and their families. She is a frequent speaker and lecturer.
Matthew Olesen
Executive Director
Matt was named Executive Director in December, 2004. His current mandate from the Senior Medi-Benefits' Board of Directors is to preserve the sterling legacy of the organization, which is now approaching its 28th year of existence, while continuing to grow the organization statewide. Matt leads program development to meet the ever more complex needs of the elderly, and spearheaded the creation of The SMB Special Needs Pooled Trust to meet the needs of California's disabled population.
Angela Williams
Executive Assistant
Angela attended the University of Nevada and is a Graduate of the
University of Nevada Reno and Art Institute of Chicago. She worked in management positions at UPS and Costco. Angela was an independent caregiver for seven years plus a Medi-Cal IHSS caregiver. Angela is extremely competent in all fields she encounters. She has been with Senior Medi-Benefits in a part-time secretarial and accounting position for the past two years. She is highly respected by all!
